For the Devs: A suggestion for Inventory Slots.

This is a thread created for the devs to read; a suggestion and a little help for our newbies, especially the non plat users.

After the upgrade and crafting update, a lot of the players have the same problem - "FULL INVENTORY." They cannot move to a different map, or sell their stuffs which they are saving once they level up, and is hesitating to sell the essences they looted as they are also saving them for crafting.

Story tokens? It would take them 10 days or less to buy that chest. It discourages them to go out there and farm or grind or hunt since they cannot do anything but wait for 10 days to complete the 100 story tokens for a 25 inv slot. Eventually, they might quit. How can they move on with full slots?

A suggestion: Why don't you, the devs, make a quest for a 25 inventory slot chest? A chain quest maybe?
Once a character reaches, say.. Lvl 15, they can take that quest to expand their inventory slots.

What do you think guys? :)

Wow. I havent thought of that. Hope STG would consider this. It will really help us a lot newbies. :)

yah. they really should give attention to this issue or they might lose soem of their players.

I agree that it is a huge problem - many members ask for carrying their items etc. I did not realize that full inv blocks you in fact from running anything, even Bard quests.

If you are "lucky", you have 27 essences in your inventory and/or all crafting slots full. Sounds like log-off to me for such a player unless I am missing something.

Yes Im experiencing this too because I only started playing this version for likely a day, havent got enough story tokens (about 50) and I have over 15 essences now. As I stated in my topic about this issue (because I didnt see this :)) I had to liquidate EVERY time I go to a map, and I think at over 20 essences (which will be soon) I cant go anywhere then :( I guess the only solution is to delete my essences then :(

guys you should be thank they are giving free inventory slot from story token.. better sell your gems.

from season 1 to season 4 there where no free inventory slot.

everyone spend plats by real money or get free plats by downloading apps.

I say enough freebies you can earn it in other ways.

.. I agree with the inven slots being over filled with essences, i have not yet experience this myself however my 500 slots is almost filled up, funily enough its almost 45% essences, i totally see how people who just start or mid started this game will have some problem, they will struggle to play, and 10 days for 25 slots... yeah its free and reasonable but majority of these people doesnt play everyday.. this is a game that people supposed to enjoy 'when ever and anytime':p.. i appriciate every bit of works sam and all the devs have produced always have!!.. k nuff of my soap

the solution is not free inventory slot. but essence should be counted as 1 slot per type.

like blood essence should eat up one slot only same with the rest of them.

by the time you craft it to gems that the time each gem can eat up 1 inventory per gem.


the problems came the essence so its the essence we should modify not the inventory.

you guys are just making excuses on gaining more inventory.

I hate to say the it but at low levels u don't really need to be collecting essences. This crafting update has done something that good MMOs do: force you to make choices. IMHO a lot of players in al players make bad decisions: lending items/gold, not prioritizing inventory slots, etc. Case in point, people need to decide if holding on to essences is more important than having inventory slots to be able to play the game.

That said I'm in the boat of having limited inventory across three characters. I ended up having some story tokens to be able to buy some inventory. I suggest Anyone having this problem forget essences for 10 days and run the bard quests to purchase the needed inventory.

Besides the suggestion of this thread is not to give a free 25 inv slot chest, but they have to earn it through a chain quest. This is like a welcome gift for them like other games who has starter kits for newbies.

lol lol lol. bard quest have always been there not sts fault u didnt do bard quest lol . for NEW PEOPLE they ALL focus on leveling they dont focus on gear i was new once all i did is level up didnt even know theyre was bard or nothing ! they can wait 10 days :) every one can ! or you can delete 1 essence keep getting some until u can make a gem because it gives you both options to delete all or just 1 figure something out :)

That is called a challenge. Most of adventurer gamers like challenges unless he/she is only a seasonal gamer. This should be no problem. If I were the newbie I will keep what gears I can use and sell the unused. Then collecting essences to create a gem to earn gold and buy more powerful gears from auction.

This plus more tokens from Bard quest or low level players will be disadvantaged.

No they aren't. Liquidate a few of those essences. I have a few toons with only 25 inv. And I have to do just that. You don't have to liquidate all. Just enough to get under 25. It's not that hard really and you aren't losing much.
