I'm able to login into my mage via fb account bt sts mail account keeps on authenticating

Same, I actually got logged in, but I tried to go to town and it took FOREVER before I just gave up.

For me, it is taking a long time to authenticate, same with your problems up there. It seemed fine yesterday.
