Same item, different damage?

I've traded with many people; some for the same item... Don't ask why XD. I've only noticed that some items I have give different damages when I compare them, but they're both the same item! Can anyone enlighten me on why this is?

Yes, it often confuses me also. I wish the item had a whole different name.

Lol I think there was a thread that contained two pics of the same item but when you compared them, the damages were different... Imma go search for it xD
