Seeing how my guide keeps getting rejected, I've decided to post a few of my new(and old) interesting findings as independent topics. I will cover a quick explanation of how this happens, for
This bug has been around for a long time and I always remember people trying to figure it out. So here it is. First of all, it works on both PvP and PvE. The problem lies in the effect of the cross class combo between operative and engineer called *BACKSLASH*(Psychic Lash by op followed by Transference from eng).
After hitting it, you will notice that both enemies and allies in transference's range will take a hit. Difference is, allies get healed by it right after so it's barely noticeable. What has caused the confusion here though is simply allies having an HP low enough that this one hit kills them off before healing.
It's not any serious issue except for some rare cases(eg. an engineer on 4x enhancer can one hit kill a fellow operative on PvE). Last note; there's also another way to trigger this own-team-hit effect but it appears to be working randomly.
There you go. :)
