Earlier today, I was in Forst Fight! when a player on the opposing team used his auto attack. The blast flew across the map, a good 30 meters, and hit me. I did take damage and my health did go down. His weapon was a level 10 monkey paw, not sure what rarity level. I'm not sure how to reproduce it, and I don't think anyone else is either.

I witnessed this glitch about one and a half years ago when a mage was using a wand and hitting her target from 30 meters away. I've looked around the forums and haven't found any threads about this glitch yet (which surprised me), so I decided to make my own.

Here are a few screenshots:

Thanks to anyone who has any input on this.

*BTW I was playing on an iPhone 4S*

It's either you are lagging, or they are lagging.

No, I could see players chatting. Also, the damage to me would't have registered if there was too much lag. The animation of an enemy would not have played. Lastly, my ping was 111.

They couldn't have been lagging because they were actively responding to chat. The damage wouldn't have registered had they been dc'd from the server.

This is a legitimate glitch, I've seen it once before under the same circumstances regarding lag. Still, you might be right in this being due to some freak network connection...

The chat shows up for everyone except for the person that said it. For example, if I said hi in chat others would see it, but while I'm lagging, I will not see it until later on.

Player is right, if you see other people chatting you are not lagging, and sometimes i got infinite ranged in voodoo pvp too.

I thought I searched for other threads like this, but apparently I missed yours. Really nice, btw. Nice thread btw, though I probably don't have to tell a GoA that :p

Anyways, I'm bumping this because I can confirm that the glitch is associated to the fox and rhino teleporting skills. I was pvping a few minutes ago and a rhino managed to hit me with his reaper, cross-map. Strange thing is though, I have seen this glitch along time ago, before foxes and rhinos. Like I said, I've seen a brainfreeze mage cross-map kill too…

Seems like it's some sort of graphical glitch where the teleporter uses their skill and the avatar is displayed in the old place, while the part that does the damage is moved (into a position where it is in range to do damage).
