Elite build help

Hey guys I've just got my mage to level 36 and was wondering how to respec myself for elite runs from what I've read it should look something like this:

Fire 4/5
Ice 4/5
Time 4/5
Shield 2/5

Knowledge 5/5
Agility 5/5
Might 5/5
And my final will probably be Critical Shot 5/5

One question I do have is which upgrade should I get for shield? TIA :)

I have the same thing with the following variation:

3/5 Shield (No knockback or invincibility upgrade)
4/5 Might

So the upgrades for shield should be increased duration and absorption of damage.

I think my current build is the "best," at least for me:

Fire 4/5 (no scorch)
Ice 4/5 (no shatter)
Time 4/5 (no bomb)
Shield 4/5 (no displacement)

Knowledge 5/5
Agility 4/5
Damage 5/5
Might 5/5

I tried running without hardened shielding, and elites are much easier with it. The two seconds of invulnerability are critical for dropping time bomb in a great place, moving around or for avoiding a 1 hit KO.

And damage 5/5 is better than critical 5/5.

Consider dropping the aoe upgrade of frost. Even without that upgrade charged frost slows/freezes multiple enemies and does damage over time to all of the enemies affected (it just doesn't do the higher initial damage to all the enemies as an aoe ).
