Change of name suggestion..in regards to what happened to purple

I suggest that there some kind of scroll down or a bracket..

or some sort to know what the person name was before..
helpful for everyone to know what their friend name change into and not be puzzle who this random
"new guy" on ur friends list or what happened to purple

changed to

Inkredible (Inkredble ) < << faded font something like this show beside the name as their previous name..

and stay there for about 3 days.. and after 3 days.. it can be taken off

or it could also be some sort of a scroll down.. which ever works

Good idea. The only issue I see is if they change their name 2 or 3 times. So the previous name is replaced by another. So you'd need to stop people changing their names multiple times during some period of time so they don't hide their previous names.

I think most scammers and evils have multiple characters, so its easy for them going under cover and do their evil.
But for the guild problem this might actually work.

They have this in runescape. On your friends list it says for example

I suppose this all depends on what the purpose of changing a new is. Is it just to have a new name or is it to be able to hide from people. At a minimum STS needs to be able to track this stuff themselves. It's rather disturbing that they cannot track a character after they changed their name.

Its kinda annoying, when you notice a tons of unknown names on your friend list, not to mention the notorious name changers, pls guys stop it!

Especially in pvp, if you become hunted by someone or some guild, you can change your name so you wont be. -1 for this idea. If this happens, the only fix would be to double-change the name for 60plat, or make a new character altogether. (Been there, done that)
