Current:

•Lifegiver: 101.5 mana, 15 sec cool-down, 6m range, Heals allies for x-y damage.
•Increased Ranged: Increase the area of effect range of lifegiver to 8 meters.
•Empower: In addition to recovering lost health, charging Lifegiver will now also recover lost mana.
•Regrowth: Charged Lifegiver will grant +10 health regeneration for 10 seconds.
•Recharge Mana: Charged Lifegiver will grant +5 mana regeneration for 10 seconds.

Proposed alternatives:

•Regrowth: Charged Lifegiver will grant +[sorcerer level] health regeneration for 10 seconds.
•Recharge Mana: Charged Lifegiver will grant +[1/2 sorcerer level] mana regeneration for 10 seconds.
Accomplishes: Small buff to existing skills.

•Empower: Lifegiver will heal the caster 25% more health.
•Regrowth: Charged Lifegiver will convert 5% of all damage to healing for 10 seconds.
•Recharge Mana: Charged Lifegiver will convert 5% of all damage to mana healing for 10 seconds.
Accomplishes: Closes gap for sorcerer heal; allows heal to have some effect over time.

•Empower: Charged Lifegiver will grant +25% to all healing effects for 10 seconds.
•Regrowth: Charged Lifegiver will revive fallen allies with 10% health and 5% mana.
•Recharge Mana: In addition to recovering lost health, charging Lifegiver will now also recover lost mana.
Accomplishes: Heal as support skill for party.

•Regrowth: Charged Lifegiver will convert damage from the next attack into healing for 10 seconds.
•Recharge Mana: Charged Lifegiver will convert damage from the next attack into mana healing for 10 seconds.
Accomplishes: Allows heal to prevent some damage spikes.

- basing healing/mana recovery on damage from next attack will work when I heal between fights how? This could/should definately be added to Curse though.
- 5% of damage converted to healing is not enough to make any difference. 3000pt crit = 150 health bump/reduction. humm
- resurrection in any form will never happen. Period.



- Cool down is way too long for a single burst heal, especially when Shield is offline for an extended period as well. Either cool down needs to get hacked or Regrowth buffed greatly.
- A simple multiplier of INT stat might work for hp/mana recovered, say 3x for initial heal and 0.5 INT stat per second for 6sec with Regrowth. Something similar for mana recovery.

I really like life giver but not speced with it bcoz of it has hidden taunt lol. Just make lifegiver 0% agrro generation and its fixed in pve.

It doesn't need a fix for pve as pots are more effective. Anyone specing heal for endgame pve is handicapping the party by being cheap rather than offensive.

I know lol but as support mage I like lifegiver. As offensive mage I go with lighting, ice, fire and clock (my current spec)

Cool down is still way too slow to make a dent in pots used so the best defense is a good offensive. If the cool down gets hacked then it might actually become useful.
