My toon just hit level 10 and I have a few pieces of equipment that are level 8 and 10, but I am not given the option of equipping them when I highlight them in the equipment screen. Any ideas? Obviously I'm a noob, but having fun so far. Thanks.

only reason you can't equip them would be because you are not matching the requirements of the piece.... pretty sure of that.... re-look at the pieces requirement. You can't equip STR if you are a DEX bear unless your meet the DEX requirements defined to the piece.

Each item has two requirements, a level and a stat. If you meet the requirements, they are displayed in green; if not, red. If either is red the item's name is shown on a red background. Only when both are green does the red background go away and you can equip.
