Auction Slots

When you purchase auction slots do you get X amount of additional slots per character?

For instance if I have 2 characters and I purchased 5 auction slots would I have 6 usable auction slots per character where I could list 12 items? Or are the slots per account?

Also on a side note is there any way to transfer cash between characters? Will the Stash do this?

Yes, the stash can be used to transfer gold.

Your auction slot is for that character only. All other ones that did not buy an additional auction slot will have just one. I think it's like inventory slots, particular to the character that did the purchasing.

Thanks. I found that out last night when I purchased 5 more auction slots. Kind of unfortunate, but I guess I understand why they did it.
