I can't even stay logged on long enuff to even look at the new gear let alone buy plat so I can get it.... Kinda lame... An I was sooo excited to get the new ice princess set today :( guess I'll wait till tomorrow and hope this issue is fixed... One more thing the enter to win/get the new pet thing brings me to a page that says I do not have permission to use... I'm not gonna whine and complain and yell an scream... I know y'all will get it fixed one day this week. Would you mind posting when you do cuz it's impossible to log on the game as it stands... I'm just sayin... Toodles

I believe the "Buy" button is to join them in a paid instance of Tarlok's Rift, in this case Tarlok's Lair. Basically your guildmate paid to enter a specific event zone and you can pay to join them.
