Crushing Blow

I know this may sound silly coming from a lvl 50 bear, but so be it. I've never invested points in Crushing Blow bc it seems to be the same as Hell Scream, only not Aoe. But I see many people maxing out Crushing Blow. Are the two skills stackable? Or is there another reason ppp use Crushing Blow?

I have confirmed that the two skills do stack. I was soloing a boss monster and I noticed that if I kept both skills on him constantly he did almost zero damage to me. If I only hit him with Hell Scream then he did a LOT more.

At lower levels, as a str bear with a shield if I keep hell scream up and cripple a boss I'm pretty much untouchable. If I start taking damage, pop iron blood and I stop. I tested this while soloing. With buffs and debuffs from other classes it can only get better.

I left a few skill points unused for this reason. So will see if I have enough or need a Respec. I may need to Respec anyway -- I haven't tested my bear out since the patches (having too much fun reuiniting with my Mage).

Before AO3, crushing blow was mostly a PVP skills, but with AO3 it became a necessity because the mobs / bosses were putting out so much damage. Still good to have for bosses, but no longer needing to spam on mobs since update.

I think the duration is about the same as hellscream. You shouldn't worry about it though. If you can keep your enemies close, you can just spam it when it recharges :)

I wasn't sure if it was 4.25, same as cooldown, or if I could allow it to slip if other important CD's are available (beckon/stomp)

beckons not important if you got them pinned on the first one
