I keep getting apache errors when trying to buy plat. tried on my epic and on firefox. my billing information seems to be correct but amazon is sending me emails sending me the purchase has failed.
How about google checkout?

We've been seeing increasing numbers of failed transactions with Amazon indicating that the Amazon account purchase has to be approved on Amazon's end, so we fail the transaction. We're trying to work with Amazon to figure out why.
We're working on Google Checkout at this very moment.

when do you think google checkout will be implemented? Will this amazon issue ever be resolved or is it better to just move over to google checkout?

We will more than likely find and fix the issue with Amazon before then. Google Checkout is weeks away.

Get with somebody you trust, a close friend, who has an amazon account set up. PayPal them a few extra dollars for helping you out, and have them punch in your credentials and you can get the plat. You can still play up to 18 for free before you have to make any sort of purchases.
