View Full Version : is SS only dropping goblin portals?

I know that there's a higher chance of goblin portal appearing, but all day today SS has only dropped goblin and nothing else for me. Anone else experiencing this or is it just my luck? It would be handy to know so I could go somewhere else if this is the case

I've met Tarlok and Thorbold via SS portal. :)

No problem with that.. Got knight like 25 times and tarlok 10+

i get 1/2 rate portal rate at SS. i got 1/4 rate everywhere else
If you guys are looking for good rate of portals, try shuyal map or nordr mount spyr. Harder maps = better portal rate
I just got a Tarlok portal in SS

Southern Seas is the best place to find them imo

My first portal after the update was in SS, and it happened to be Tarlok.

Some maps may have a higher portal spawn rate but they are mostly maps that take at least twice as long as SS to finish.
SS is the place.

To those of you using SS exclusively or almost exclusively, what has been the rate of Tarlok encounters? Mine has been very low and I'm wondering if chance to get Tarlok comes from tougher maps.
When update first came out I was finding him a lot (and I wasn't using SS) since last few updates the portals in previous sweet spots have stopped appearing and Tarlok himself is almost a shoe in to be part of the Elusive 4.

I think it's just a matter of chance. I forget what was the portal drop rate, but I do know that there is only a 10% chance you will encounter Tarlok.
