New Gems

Apologies if this has already been addressed~ I looked around and didn't see anything...

Is it possible to get a super, greater, etc. gem from socketing one of the new gems? (Tarloks or whatever)

Also is anyone using these gems?... seems to me mildly better than a regular gem and not as good as a super.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Hardly see anyone socket their mythic or even legendary gears with Tarlok gems. We can always combine multiple original gems to make them have the same stat as Tarlok ones.

I think those new gems should be added more features or proc, otherwise there is no need to introduce them in the first place as no one will use them.

Tarlok gems give +2 +2 and a super gives +6 +3

lvl21: original gems give +2, new gems give +2 main, +1 secondary.

But at level 18 , normal fire gem gives me +2 dex, normal wind gem +2 dex + 1int.. BUT for super/grand gem fire +4 dex and wind +3 dex and +2 int.. which I dont think is fair.. :(((

But at least not less stat on normal, its just a bit disadvantage if you are lucky and made a grand gem.
At lvl15 normal gems give: +2, grand gem +3; new gem: +2 +1, grand new +3 +2 .. so there is no reason why not to use new gem on a lower lvl item.

I hoped they keep it +4 and +2 at lower levels to make it actually special.. since it is a event gem and wont be available again later.. I dont feel like using wind gems again coz if I get super gem then I feel bad lol.. coz I I would prefer +4 dex over +3 dex and +2 int
