It's a good looking bow with average stats. It's very rare as a scaled level 15 drop, that makes it a collector's item. Similar to pink L15 auto bows, these are stupid expensive as well.

If you just want it for the stats, a cheap pink recon bow has the exact same.

The drop and scaling rules seem to have changed a lot with the fox and rhino update, but in good old pl this 15 bow was really hard to get.
It drops in balefort castle. So it scales from 15 to 19. This means you need a level 15 to farm it. Back in ancient pl it even meant that your whole party could only be max 15.
And now the tricky part: through the increasing threat level only balefort 1 drops level 15, from balefort 2 on you can only drop 16+. So you needed to farm that extract map, balefort 1.
And now the super tricky part: balefort 1 doesn't have a boss. So you would need a normal mob to drop a pink.
And of course you would have to be lucky to drop a bow and not some stupid sword ;)
So all in all it was really hard to farm that bow...

That being said, in today's pl I think it is easier. I have been dropping many auto bows in wyldwood lately, those should belong in balefort as well. I suspect that the 5M bow can be farmed in wyldwood now as well, people just don't care for it ;)

So worth it? I think someone would but it for 5M.

Worth and value are two different things. To the seller it's worth 5m, but to you it could be worth 50 gold. Value on the other hand is dependent upon the market price of other items in the CS.

hard question to answer since it appears to be based entirely on rarity. Just because something is rare (and not overpowered), what value does it accrue in the game? Not an easy thing to answer since it's value comes only from the perception that it should be worth more because there is less of them.

They sell for about 80-100k. Lvl 17s are also popular and sell for about 49-50k. The level 19s and super common and sell for 10-15k

Watch out because this could be a common scam attempt. People will list junk items for high prices from an alternate account and from a different account will say "buying 'item' for xxx gold!!!" In hopes that you'll buy their overpriced item off of CS, and when you do run to them with that item they'll ignore your or laugh at you for just having scammed you out of some gold.

I don't see how this is a scam. OP is selling an item for a crazy high price and is using this thread like an advertisement. Whoever chooses to buy it agrees on that price. Anyone who has 5M to spend on a L15 bow should be experienced enough to know what they are doing.
I even hope they spent the good to put in that L2 bow for a cap so the forest bow looks like a bargain :D

Of course that bow is overpriced but it is a rare drop compared to the auto xbow. While farming at least 10 autos in the course of 2-3 days, I managed to get this bow once as a drop. And no I'm not the guy in the pic selling it for 5m. I'm saying the bow does have some rarity and I'd say it should be around 100k max.
P.S the bow sucks. Talon and wing is better with more dps and arm but I Use it on my bear for looks
