Tarlok gems and original gems share the same outlooks on weapon icon. (red for str, yellow for dex, blue for int) It is impossible for players to know which gems (Tarlok or original) on the items without click the icon to see the different stat.
Imagine if there are lots of same items on cs, you have to click each icon to see what gem it has on. That may take lots of time and very inconvenient.
I suggest use a different appearance of Tarlok gem. For example, a new look for Tarlok gem can be like the pic below.
