Hello, have been a long time STS player. Played Pl, Sl, and Dl.
I attempted to "win" the new Eternal Shadow gem from the store. 21 attempts (105 plat) and all I revieved was junk. This is over $15 U.S. and have nothing to show for it but multiple copies of pink gems and green junk. Which sell back to the client at about 21 gold.
For the 30 mins I was logged on earlier I did not see anyone wearing one.
So the question is, is it broken, exceedingly rare, or am I unlucky?
If it is not broken, how much do they believe the real dollar value of this item is worth.
I wonder how much extra money they stand to make by making it a chance item as oppossed to a direct purchase? How is the customer supposed to make an informed buying decision without knowing what the odds of that "chance" are? This potentially alienates their customers in the process.
Is it worth it? This experiance certainly will ensure I never buy plat again.
This combined with the free plat offers that don't pay, 8 plat for respecs, and other money and customer service issues. I have lost faith in their products.
If it is a bug, then this can be moved to the bug section and I will edit this post accordingly.
Otherwise, please post how many tries it took you to recieve or not recieve the gem so that others can make a informed decision before gambling.
