Occasional connection issues

Every once in a while, I'll have issues with connecting with the servers, and it doesn't seem like anyone else has the same issue since no one is going crazy in the chatbox. I simply cannot contact the server. I've tried on my phone and iPad. I've already, for each device, restarted the app, restarted the device, and checked my connection.

I was actually playing a little over an hour ago no problem, but now is a different story. Also, this is not just for AL; the same is true for both PL and DL.

Again, this is just an occasional issue, so I'm curious as to why this happens and if anyone else has ever had or is having these same issues.

Do you use comcast? I'm having a similar problem connecting over my home internet connection. But when I use AL on my phone with WIFI disabled so it uses the cell network for internet I can connect just fine. When I do a traceroute to the game server IP it doesn't leave comcast's network. So its some problem with the comcast network.
