When you have one or two monsters attacking you or one with a great sword or boss even, their animations as in a swing, stab or punch pull you back towards them so you cannot get away to help other team mates.

this is caused by latency, your connection is taking a while to send the signal. The server thinks you are still next to the monster when on your screen you have moved away a few steps, so when the monsters hit connects it puts you back next to the monster, sorry theres not much you can do but try and get a better signal.

i also find that if you stop attacking you can move away faster as it doesnt have to upload your swing to the server.

You will find this happens with a lot of online games EG modern warfare, you are beside a wall and run behind it and are shot, your body drops beside the wall. its lag my friend

Haha no. It's not latency. I don't think you have experienced what he's talking about.
It's a straight glitch. Happens to me even with 100 ping.
But it's back in the classic maps.

You can tell what's lagg and what's not. Just trust me. This isn't lagg at all.
I know exactly what he's talking about.

And being behind a wall and getting shot in MW2 is connection differential.
Also not lagg.

well lag is a term gamers come up with to expain what they dont understand, it gets passed around a lot and its kinda lost its meaning, sorry i havent experienced this particular glitch, but a similar thing happens to me.

EG im fighting and pull back to heal, after a brief pause however i find my character dead a good 20 metres back and im confused as to how it came about.

meh that was my two cents

i thought that could be the case, you cant move briefly after recieving a blow, i put it down to my bad connection, now we know
