6th crate I ever opened gave me Mythic warrior armor & 100 plat.

Opened 7 more after that and got nothing of any real worth, sold the rest of my crates and bought the mythic warrior helm.

Yea I feel ya, after a few thousand plat worth of crates I was expecting more than junk eggs myself. The"gamble" system rng is giving me HUGE buyers remorse...u would think there would be some sort of reward system for spending "X" amount of dollars. That way when we loot crap item after crap item at least we KNEW something good will definitely come to us if we keep pumping plat money into game. If nothing good comes from the plats I have now, it'll be freemium membership from now on(clarify: I'm not crying about wasting my money, just stating my opinion)

Well its not very wise to complain about something u know its just a gambling, crates are tricky u might open 2 and get arcane and u might open 200 and get so much ethyl eggs.

Last week i openned 300 crates at once and got 2 mythic armors and 2 helms, why did i get excited ? Cause my friend openned 50 and got samael and my other friends openned 70 and got arcane staff.. well they were lucky thats it.
And btw i bought the 300 crates 4.2 million so that guy was wiser than me and made 4.2m without wasting any real life money, i made more obviously but i wasted arround 150 $ so u either take risks or u play it safe, at the end its ur choice so dont complain dear :)

They should give better odds the more you open... Then, when you hit a special item, reset the odds counter. That way, people who spend a ton of money supporting sts will feel better and have a better game experience... Not to mention, sts would make a lot more money.

I'm not saying"every crate should hold arcane or mythic" but I've spent more in this game than any other game I've played, more than my dirtbike cost...it's kinda ridiculous I'm not fully geared. Like I said before, I quit buying plats as did a whole lot of casual players for spending hundreds of dollars at a time and getting total trash loot...constantly. figured with a limited time arcane pet in the mix after a few thousand plat I would at least loot one of those...

Ive bought the 1700 plat pack for 55 3 times, and spent all on crates wanna know results? After all the crates got opened and I sold the stuff, I ended up with 3mil total :/ considering the cost of crates, I lost gold :/

Back when crates were new there were no mythic or arcane items in AL yet, so the best items were legendary. Back then every crate gave a legendary item -- that was their selling point. Very quickly everyone started to complain that those items weren't worth anything, and nobody wanted to open crates anymore even though they contained the best weapons in the game (Dark Watch Sword, Watch Rifle, etc.). Crates quickly dropped in price, and at one point during season 2 you could buy crates in the auction for about 300 gold each. Those Dark Watch Swords only cost around 5k each back then.

Then STS realized that interest in crates was related to how rare the items were, and not how good the stats of those items were. So they replaced the legendary crate items with slightly worse legendary crate items, and then introduced mythic and arcane items with Hammerjaw and the mythic helms. Suddenly prices of the crates went way up and people started being interested in them again, and here we are today.

Be careful what you wish for..... We have tried that path before and we know where it leads.

A little work never hurt anybody :-P and considering the amount of revenue they produce compared to the amount they could produce would be worth it imo...they already keep track of plat purchases. So it shouldn't be impossible for them. And I do understand your points energ and don't fully disagree. Let's say u spend 100$ on plats, that could increase your chance by 5%. Maybe have a 3 or 5 tier loot table. Spend 500$ u get increased to the next...maybe +10% increase to loot valued items.maybe puts u to a loot table with less junk in it for increased chance at better loot. U get mythic or arcane u get sent back to the original loot table

I opened 20 crates (this is my first time gambling) to celebrate christmas and i looted a myth ring a fang and nearly 200 plat and an ethyl sold the "junks" and earned 100k + the nearly 70k from opening the crates 170k in total.

Lol i Made free offers on the Bonus offer Event and and opened with these 130 plats many crates. At the first 10 crates i got like 300 plats more.
Had the chance to Open more, what i even did, and well after around 30 crates u had many many many dimensional gear xD.
Anyway i will keep openining them with free plats, coz my money i make by Farming and the plats are free so i have nothing to lose ^.^

LOL...not bad luck...odds are in your favor if it was just "luck" at play and I'm not angry, I just started my opinion and future plans to never spend money here again. My opinion was a suggestion to keep money spenders in the game longer. And the casino is a perfect example. They're both "luck" based systems that totally depend and thrive on PAYING customers. Each casino wants the highest passing customers in it. So they make it worth their whole to be there. Sending a cutie over to suit with while u play, free drinks to keep you care free, a free room so u feel comfortable and don't have to look for a different place to spend your money. My question is... why should I keep spending money(a good bit of money) on something and get ZERO in return? Answer is I won't. Not until some incentives are put into place.

The "zero" what you get are mostly the 6k. For me they arw 6k not 0. Even if you Open thousands of crates you wont get zero. Theres always something you get.

Ik the things wont be as common as legendary things but even now while these low odds mythics are already pretty cheap.
So its just worth looting an arcane item.

But it just goes to show imo it would benefit them to implement some sort of reward program for people who dump money into this game and get basically squat. Do they honestly think he will ever drop that kind of dough after looting junk? They may not care cause there's plenty of part buyers...at the moment...$5k! Should EASILY deck out at least 3 toons with all game has to offer...just my peace on the subject
