Tarlok gears too op?

So tarlok gears are the best gear in town right now but I notice its better than lv26 mythic helms.. o.O anyone notice that?57365. 57367

You say it's better than mythic helms? If I'm not mistaken, you're not even Lv. 26 yet, so you can't even compare those two. You're comparing the Tarlok helm with your helm, and looks to me like a low-leveled one.

It's only the damage and dps on tarlok armor that's higher. Health is higher on mythic and armor is also 100 points higher than tarlok. I'd rather the 100 armor points on a tank than the 1.6 point damage increase.

The only problem about Tarlok potency gears is the defence if not it's the best gear ever because of is cost and the stats it offers.

Tarlok is the new "architect armor" and a preannouncement of a new expasion.

Yes, tarlok gear give u more dmg, I would definitely go for talok one as it's much cheaper than the mythic one. However, mythic gear can be upgraded to lv36 version and it is better than tarlok one stat wise at lv36.

For warriors, the damage/DPS stats are IMHO too close to upgraded mythics.

Level 36 Tarlok's Scaled Plate of Assault:
40 STR, 20 DEX, 4.9 Damage, 832 Armor

Level 36 Uller's Blazing Plate of Savvy:
48 STR, 3 DEX, 21 INT, 3.22% Dodge, 5.0 Damage, 1008 Armor


Wearing my Uller's Blazing plate of Savvy which has three +3 STR blood gems, look how close the stats are of a no-gem'd Tarlok's Scaled Plate of Assault:

Yet the price difference is huge, there's a level 36 Tarlok's listed for 240k, but level 31 mythics start at 3 million...


At this rate the level 41 legendaries will supersede level 36 mythics, and I don't think that's right.

Mythics are still better than tarloks.
Sure, the dmg tarlok gives are close to mythics which is awesome thanks to the devs.
Now nonmythic players have good dmg but thats it.
Tarlok assault has good dmg but having low armor and no mana benifits.
So it is not OP*er than Mythics but surely surpass the old Legendaries.

And dont forget mythics has 3sockets.

Honestly if I could sell my upgraded helm and armor right now I would! Price difference is too great. Apparently farming for architect helm and armor is now complete it pointless. Elite tower and the first Map are done!

Not sure about other classes but architect armor of will is still the highest health armor for Mage. I still use it for certain hard hitting bosses.

Personally I'm glad I never bought the mythic armor set and just stuck to collecting legendary sets. Armor seems to get updated regularly while weapons don't. Architect pylon of brutality I still the best non mythic/arcane weapon for damage on Mage.

Tarlok armors/helm don't give u 400ap, so Mythic armors/helm are still the best. And by the way the best legendary armors/helm for me as a warrior are Tarlok Will set.
