With the game getting to the point where people have millions of kills and insurmountable pvp records, here's an idea that goes along with the "Per season" leaderboard idea that has been suggested before.
Achievements such as (these are examples only and may not be realistic):
100K kills in a 3 month period
1K PVP kills in 60 days
500 flags in a month
50 elite bosses killed in a month (Jarl doesn't count)
Something to this effect. This would encourage people to keep engaged in the game and working towards various achievements. Because as it stands now, if you make a 100K pve kills ap, there will be 1000 players who get it without trying - but say "get this number in a short amount of time" and you get people interested again.
