I've had an intermittent problem lately with connecting to Arcane Legends. Occasionally for some reason I get the error "Failed to connect to the Arcane Legends game servers. Please check your internet connection." I diagnosed the problem down to Comcast is blocking the IP 54.242.49.56 which is the current Arcane Legends game server:

Tracing route to ec2-54-242-49-56.compute-1.amazonaws.com [54.242.49.56]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

The reason I know the IP is blocked is because if I do a traceroute to another IP on the same class C subnet it gets out:

Also if I use tethering from my phone I can connect from AT&T's LTE network. I filed a support case with Comcast because they are clearly blocking this IP and its not a routing issue since if it was a routing problem any other IP on the same class C would fail as well. If you're having the same problem connecting and are a Comcast subscriber I suggest you file a support case with them.

I have the same problem, every device I use it goes to failed to connect to Arcane Legends server. I thought it was just my wifi but every other app/website works perfectly fine. Comcast failed me and others today :(

Thanks for the heads up. I have assigned a different IP address to the server.

How long should it take to reset and allow again? Or do I have a different IP which hasn't been changed?

It's already running with a different IP address now. Just relog. If you still can't get in, then it's a different/another problem.

Weird. I've never had an issue... but now my ping rate has gone from a pretty green 60 to a laggy yellow and red.

Why would Comcast block that specific IP? I would trouble shoot all blocked IPs. Their may be an issue with recieving all the services from your current internet (and even cable) package.

Comcast blocked many of my services (which I paid for) while I had them. They always apologized and fixed it, but I eventually switched providers once the same "accidents" or occurred several times over. They loved to tell me I didn't pay for Science channel.
