In game today I was chatting with a mage who had a black drag set, a 3pc ring, and overall looked like a pretty experienced player. She/He told me that when you equip the Plat gold drag armor and helm, the mitas dragon, and a golden vanity coin shield (I think that was what the shield was called.) you receive a set bonus. Is this true? The mage said it wasn't a very well known set bonus. Can anyone confirm/deny this? I do not have the golden dragon to confirm myself.

I have the plat dragon set and it dosnt seem to do anything except breath fire like the others I have no dragon pet or shield I think this isn't true :)

That's what I thought, although all these items are gold. I just cannot confirm or deny by myself.

Only thing I can confirm is, you can use golden dragon to get the black ring. (Makes sense when you have missed the smoke pet quest)
The golden dragon is like a multi functional item, you can use it on every crafted dragon set.

isnt dragon daze obtained by wearing gold set and a mitas? i dont think the coin shield was necessary :B

You get the Dragon daze achievement just for equipping the Mitas dragon.
