Character name Change

Hello-

I had heard somewhere there is a way to change the character name mid game??

I have the Android version on the T-Mobile G2 Froyo 2.2 and cannot for the life of me find out how to change my character name... I have purchased plat points and can change skills, etc but the name change befuddles me :)

Any ideas? Is this really possible??

You can access the "Name Change" by going to the Character selection screen.

You would be able to see the function there :)

Well, it makes sense that they put it there.

But the problem is, not much people have that sense :P

It is a steep price for a reason... if it was cheap then people would scam and change names at will. Pick your name carefully!

In what sense do you mean by scamming??? If I'm right u mean if someone changes there I.e myn then someone steals it the person can impersonate me to get items etc? Correct me if I'm wrong

What G means is that, lets say my IGN is JustG, and I scam you.

I can easily (and on the cheap) change it so another IGN, you wont be able to trace me.

Unless help of the Devs are sought to track it down.

if you change names, Do you show up in your friend's list with your new name or Does it remove you from people's friends list?
