View Full Version : Fragment too rare?
I think the 16 fragment needed to upgrade mythic helmet is rarer than arcane pet in locked crates. I only got 1 out of 16 needed despite spending all day yesterday and few hours today.
I'm cycling between first kraken map and third kraken map as it seems to has most barrel for me to smash. Do chest in maps contains fragment?
No just boxes and make sure you're the one who destroys boxes.

It's not rare. It's perferctly fine. You're upgrading to better mythics, don't expect an easy quest.
Also it took me exactly 2 hours to upgrade it. Rotate between Windmoore Harbor, Grog Beach and Skull Cove.

Yeah I always do /partyinvite 000 to avoid harder mobs and derpier team.
Btw how long did you take to get all fragments?

4 hours of only farming barrels. Didn't worry about chests.

It's not rare. It's perferctly fine. You're upgrading to better mythics, don't expect an easy quest.

This is what I did. Maybe within a course of 2-3 hours.

Took about 6 hours of non-stop grinding. Only stopped to use the bathroom

4.5 hours for me.. Harbor, Grog, and Skull Cove worked well.

Took longer on rogue. Warrior maybe 3 hours. Windmoore and Grog Beach.

For the first time i farmed fragment, took about a week without solo party. Then when i tried to do solo party with lepre amulet, just took about 2-3hours.

grog beach should do yyou fine that where i got most of these fragments. and hardly anyone does grog beach so you will have the whole map to yourself mostly. it shouldnt take you more than a day if your persistent ;) good luck

Why should it be easy? Your getting a massive upgrade in stats why shouldn't your work for it!
You can tell the people who buy plat and don't have patience to farm your own gold....

You can tell the people who buy plat and don't have patience to farm your own gold.... If we get a huge upgrade in stats then why do we have a quest that requires mindless breaking of barrels? Nothing a 4 year old cant do...
The idea of this quest is to make us grind and bored ;)

Around 3 hours for me, just running the maps hitting crates without killing the mobs. Being a warrior helped.

Yep I'm running it 3rd day, 11 of 16 found. Rogue not funny. It might help if I had Razor shield or Shadow Storm...
And definitely better to solo, others just don't care about you, run with speed pets, and leave farmed maps behind for you to find and clean.
