Crazy winter

Anyone else having crazy weather this winter? Where I'm at right now its so cold that its too dangerous to go outside at all. And the 50-70 mph winds don't help either. Neither does the snow, freezing rain, and ice. So much for the warmer than normal winter I was supposed to have lol. Instead I'm having record temperatures colder than anything in my area for over 20 years. What about you guys.

Up here in PA we have a lovely -5 degrees, icy roads, and the wind was blowin' me around on the highway this morning. >_> Instantly cold the second I went outside. I could go for some more 50 or 60 degree winter days. :P

Wind finally stopped after almost 2 full days of 60 mph winds. Temperature is even colder though. Downside of being on a farm, no matter how cold it is I still have to go out and give food and water to everything while all I have to wear in cold weather like this is a pair of gloves and a jacket with holes in it. Not used to ever being this cold :\

Found out something that's kind of cool :) if you throw boiling water outside when its as cold as it is here the water instantly becomes steam.

Yea it's record breaking cold here too. Went from having droughts every year for the past 6 years then this year we all of the sudden get a ton of rain and the temperature drops like crazy. Just last weekend I was out hiking in the lovely 60 degree weather and a week later its -10, and then -30 degrees out.

Where I live its like winter and spring switched in the last 4 years... So now its warm and sunny here, which it shouldnt be...

Actually its from wind currents in the arctic pushing all that cold air down south and it went as far south as Texas.

School closed yesterday due to severity of cold and good chance of frostbite according to weatherman.
Thursdays and Friday were off due to intense blizzard. Yay, that was 5 more days of winterbreak.
