Can an Archer use all of their skills if it equiped sword instead of bow?

Can an Archer still use all of Archer skills if it using sword instead of bow? I see lots of Archer player carrying a sword in game that looks so cool that why I want to know I use a diff weapon of class on an Archer. Thanks for your help
