Alot will not like this but, people are abusing the ability to switch pets n refresh them n pvp and it kinda gone crazy. When you can keep refreshing a crawly and slag its not really fair at all. I abused this earlier to try it n normally you cannot drop 4 warriors healing each other refreshing slag dropped them n seconds. So I believe we need to lose the privelage of switching pets once entering pvp. :-/ Or.. maybe keep the cooldown running even when switched? Lets hear someone else's opinion?

Not switching pets would be interesting but then I would also like to see pets not get tired in pvp.... I switch pets a lot in pvo given the situation... maybe a cd on the actual switching of pets would b ideal... maybe every 30 seconds.

30 seconds would work, any amount of time to stop the spamming. Spamming August is another biggie :-/

Just disable the "5" key (pc keyboard) from triggering any skill on pet when you are on a stable, no need to have cooldown or anything.

Simple fix... make it so dismissing and summoning pets doesnt reset the cooldown of the arcane ability.

Or if code wise that is too complicated to keep track of multiple pets cooldowns, make it so all pets summoned must wait a cooldown period before their arcane is ready for first use.

I agree it is a definite problem and a glitch the way it is being used since it isnt the way STS intended it to be. If August was supposed to have a 1 second cooldown, STS would have given him a 1 second cooldown.

An as Veteren, I play proper, same pet the whole game without a thought of cheating. Do you even pvp? Understand 4 crawlies being spammed makes it impossbile to move August is another noob move n im pretty sure its about to get worse n youll see more of it...if you pvp.

I support this thread. Amazed STS hasn't done anything about this yet as it gives PC players a huge advantage over the rest of us.

On the tablet/phone you can just dismiss/summon then quit out of stable and press the arcane button. So this isnt a problem just on the PC.

Someone should post this into the glitch forum instead. I learned to switch pretty quickly due to the need to adapt to everyone else doing it, but it's definitely not how the pets were intended to be used.

Switching pets isn't the problem since there's nothing wrong with taking the risk if the switch is used fairly. The issue is that switching or dismissing/summoning resets the arcane cooldown effectively making cooldown irrelevant.
