Iphone platinums vs android platinums

I had to check this 3 times to make sure that I was not having one of my dyslexic fits.

30 platinums (iphone) 5.99
30 platinums (android) 4.99

Is it because android is the new platform and users are getting some kind of discounts? Will this be forever?

I want to say it's because apple skims off the top of their app prices. If you create a program for apple they take a percent of each app sale. With google you have to pay a one time fee and all the money from your app sales go to you.

What iTunes store are you linked to? It says 4.99 on my iPod (US store). Regardless, you can buy 30 for 4.99 at pocketlegends.com no matter what device you use.

Yeah, thats it. I was linked to the australian Market. But buying through the US store will be cheaper considering the exchange rate now. Thanks, I knew it had to be my mistake somehow.
