I was wanting to get a Google Nexus 7 16 GB..it has the proper size and price.

Some data on this puppy :) "July 2012 - ASUS - Android - 16 GB - Nexus - Wi-Fi Only - 7 inch - 12 ounce - 9.5 hour battery"

or a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2..dont know which one is better..a bit of help would be great guys ;) a dedicated thread would be nice too..in a sticky :)

I have the first and second generation N7 and they are by far the best Android tablets that I have played on.

I like the galaxy tab 2 (I own one) well thats because I love playing on a bigger screen I have a 10inch and also the google nexus is very nice but like I said earlier I like the big screens but when playing in bed (don't say you don't play at night time too) the samsung galaxy tab 2 is kinda uncomfortable because of its size... Ik i didn't give much info other that my personal opinion but hope this helps! :p

Ummm, I think it's all about the iPad. Say hello to a 10+ hour battery life span. Say goodbye to tablets.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the iPads have 1 GB of Ram while the nexus has 2....

Correction: iPads have 1.024 GB of RAM.

But who needs RAM when all you do on your iPad/tablet is play AL? Though, Octavos didn't really mention what he was using the tablet for.

Higher RAM results in higher quality of everything, such gameplay or streaming.

Nook HD+ has a 10'' screen, HD, 1gig ram and better cpu than galaxy tab. And.... its under $200 brand new. Also, 32 gig plus SD card

Nahh. I do well with my iPad.

I own an iPad mini and an iPad 2.

I would take the nexus over them anytime.

I use the Nexus 10 and I love it except for the difficulty in taking screenshots.

I recently Bought the Galaxy tab 3 (7") as my dedicated gaming tablet for AL. I would have gotten the N7, but the price was right for the Tab 3 and I'm not compelled to install other things on it. Plays great, but if you're looking for better quality screen, then get the N7 (either model)

Apple products are overpriced and overrated IMO. Nexus 7 is the way to go

Nexus all the way; its cheap, great hardware specs and beautiful colors. I also like the size of the tablet and Android is very customizable, that is if you know how to root your device.

I can run AL full-screen (I didn't like how the app minimize button was so close to the pots and sometimes I would accidentally minimize AL....) and AL looks even better.

What's the diffrence between a rooted and unrooted device?
I've always wanted to root my Kindle but don't know how.

Rooted means you are the super user and as a super user, you can fully customize or control your device.

Here is an article: What is rooting and unrooting (http://nerdsmagazine.com/what-is-rooting-and-unrooting-in-android/http://)

I don't own a Kindle device therefore, I don't have any experience but I'm sure there are plenty of tutorials on the internet on how to do it.

Root gives you the ability to do things that ate blocked on unrooted devices. For example, on your kindle you could install a custom android Rom instead of running the Amazon version of android. So you can install apps from Google play rather than the Amazon app store.

There is also s lot of other cool things you can do. However, the manufacturers block it for a reason. So be careful. I've never bricked a device, but there are countless examples of people that have.

I tired to reply right after you posted but even after the confirmation window appeared, my post never actually came up.
