Opinion - Dueling Arena or Expansion?

In an imaginary situation, suppose devs had time to work on only one of the two -- either a new DUELING Arena ( 1vs1) OR a New Expansion, what would you AL players wish for and why? Ideally, I would wish for a dueling arena as that would be something never tried before in AL and I can wait for an expansion. Perhaps a 1vs1 arena , as it would be fair for all, would inspire even PVE addicts to want to get into pvp. What do you all think? ;p

i prefer arena but i don't like the idea to join in a map to fight a simple duel.. i think this should be free in any map or town.

I would prefer a new expansion. I find PVE maps more fun and I am not adversely effected by other players using exploits when playing in PVE zones.

Pvp is kinda lame unless u have the best gear anyway, 1v1 will be the same way.

Yes, you can run away for the time being, but shield only lasts for 15 sec. Then you'll have to wait another 15 sec due to cd. If there is a deathmatch (let's say 10 people, no teams, as you said), you are going to die unless they make the invulnerability for the shield last 30 sec.
