I'm guessing you need help with bear? Anyways I would rather use a build with more slashes
My build is 6rage 5stomp 1 SMS 1 veng 1 crip
Crippling is mainly used as a stun for close auto fights when stomp is recharging and used against mages to root them in place
Your gear set up is what I use and you should get a damage/crit ring
Also try getting a auto xbow for kiting/ fights with mages

Not much can be said to help. Mostly timing and learning to kite stomps really. All I can say is practice/fight with players that are better than you to get better. That's what I did when I started lvl15 bear.

Kiting stomps is also not everything I've missed all my stomps dozens of times in fights and still won, timing is key.

Kiting stomps give you a better chance of winning. And landing your stomp while your opponent doesn't is great because of stomp's hit debuff

L17 vs L12?

Missing stomps in bear vs bear fights can be deadly. At L15 the normal build would be 6 Rage and 6 Stomp with 2 slashes, and 6 stomp has a high probability of stunning you, debuffing your hit. If you can win after getting a debuff from 6 stomp, you're either lucky or your enemy is unlucky. The only "skill" you can brag about in low level is your judgement of range, nothing else.

Since L15-17 mage is trending, here's a piece of advice ; use Expert with talon on mages. I've fought several mages talon vs paw, and so far Expert works better than Art because hit is not an important factor in bear vs mage, unlike bear vs bear fights. You can also choose to use a crossbow, but there seem to be a lot of mages with 6 heal out there, so be careful of them. Mages with 6 heal and 6 light will wreck you if you use crossbow.

I think that 6 rage 6 stomp and 1 super mega slash and 1 vengful slash is good. that is what I use.

I always used 6 rage 3 stomp 5 sms. What can they do if their stunned? 90% chance of stun with slash. 50% with stomp.

Kiting does not need 3-5fire. I use 1 fire on my 15 Mage and I kite perfectly fine

i can name a few mages that use 1 fire to kite. i use 1 fire, qrganisms, mentosandsoda, knifetank, onebeastmage. quite a few actually

My bear build is 6 rage 5 Stomp 1 on each slash and it works very well with talon or fbow
