mage or scholar?! please help!!

In my quest log it says to find a mage or scholar in the world. I have looked everywhere and cannot find one! Does anyone know where I can find one?!

To turn the quest in that is who you go see. At least that is how I remembered it. I completed all the mages quests, but then I touched the stone on the other map, it said to find a mage or scholar, and then I went to that mage and it worked.

I am in the same boat... That's all my quest log says and no it's not the guy next to the mirror... he has no more quests..

The quests are next to the enterance in wyldwood (The commander). The bones in Wyldwood (Dead elf squad wanting you to give a letter to his wife). The miner at the enterence of the Shalerockstone Valley (Clearing rock giants so he can go back to mining, and the runestone in Shalerockstone Valley which leads to mage in Balefort. I'll go post screenshots.

i am having the same issue... i don't know where i should be looking for a scholar/mage.... but i know it's not the mage next to the mirror in balefort, because i've already completed all the quests from them, and now all they do is talk....

Exactly. Find the rock and accept the quest and to finish it, talk to the Royal Mage in Balefort.

(someone just taught me how to do this the fast way)
-Go to the "World Map"
-Click "Host Game"
-Scroll until you see "Balefort Castle"
-Click on the 9th square "Shalerockstone Valley"
-Create Game
-There is a stone in the top left corner which has the quest.
