A cap in guild size.

I approve of this suggestion....

At some point a guild becomes too large, and with no useful means to manage and control your guild, it quickly becomes unwieldy and susceptible to scammers and drama. With the limited benefits of being a guildmember, other than having a private hall and /g and /o chat, I don't see tremendous value in it. Now, if you could have a real ranking system, private training areas, guild leaderboards, tournament management, easy to manage contests, gold pooling, etc., then I would see the value and say the more the merrier.

It's just that right now, it is a convenient way for me to broadcast to all of my friends "Any elite runs?" With that in mind, I say keep the guilds small and intimate, perhaps limited to 255 (which coincidentally, is the largest value of a byte).

What would happen to the guilds that already have 3k or 4k members?

Disband Guild XD

or just give a notice in game that reduce you members to X Amount or your guild will be disbanded at :Date: [It cleans out old and inactive guilds :D]

I think it would foster a more competitive less confusing environment.

I can only imagine what being in a guild with 4k members would be like....

You log in, scroll through the active players in the guild, realize you don't know any of them. Ask "any runs" in /g...no one responds. Then about 5 guys start spamming "Tarlok of Pot....super gemmed 3mil - rush!" over and over. Next, someone says "xxx is a scammer" and someone else says "don't kill guildies you noob!" That is quickly followed up by a "you killed me first bch!" Then you catch the tail end of a joke (which you don't understand), followed up by about 40 "lols". Next is a very chatty conversation about most effective PvP build for Sorcs, most of which you either already know or realize is probably the worst build imaginable.

Getting frustrated, you ask again "Got reroll from Klaas....any runs?", but your request is buried about 40 lines deep with chat in about 6 different languages.

Disgusted, you go into GH, and see 40 guys AFK standing around, so you buy pots and go farm Jarl, Bael and KM3 with a bunch of PUGs and log out when your reroll expires and all you got was a junk lv16 pink that you gave to a random in town on your way out...

Don't forget the annoying ultra-emote usage spamming guild chat :) ;) :p
