How does the dmg with with bows equipped?

bows increase damage of the shadow pincer

Oh ok cuz I didn't know if the weapons added more dmg or not so blades would add even more dmg .

Bows of the same level as daggers tend to have more damage. Whichever weapon gives you more damage will raise damage for all skills

DPS only raises your white damage, meaning auto attack etc. whereas DMG stat raises your skill damage.
