The latest version of chrome, for some reason, displays this message. I had the same problem. The solution as posted in a few threads already created about this issue, is to uninstall the newest Chrome and install an old version ( I use version 26 ). Also you can google ways to disable automatic updates for chrome so that your browser stays the same version.
