No. The dice is rolled at the time that the crafting is complete.

The thing with the whim pull being reduced is, unlike Samael, the whims follow very very closely behind your avatar... so... to have a 9mm pull is pretty small. If y'all could buff it up to at least 10-12, that would be highly appreciated.

Thanks for the weekend! Unfortunately it did not bear much fruit for me (3 out of 35 attempts), but hopefully a lot of folks did better.

Hopefully you guys have something else up your sleeve prior to the expansion next month, because it has been unusually slow since the initial announcement thread.

It's a 34% pull reduction. I feel like the 14mm range was perfect due to the very very short leash of the pet. They should really reconsider adding it back.

Same ^ It may have been considered "redic" , but it is an Arcane pet after all. The perk to having a Red pet is it's Arcane separates itself from the rest. If the key to that perk is a pull and that pull remains as small as it is now it kind of defeats the purpose. You can always keep the range and add a stun..js.

Exactly & with none of the crazy add on stats the other arcane pets have, the arcane should be equally stunning. Please...re add the 14mm pull. I honestly feel like it's worse than before.

Let me explain why - first off, it does have a 14mm range, yes. However, it's always following you around and you have to guide it. So, that 14mm range in actuality is like 10mm. With how nerfed the pull range is now, I literally have to be up close to someone in order to pull them. What's the point of the pull if I have to get in melee range anyways, you know?

Can you please just give it the justice that the arcane pet deserves? Right now, there's very little that is actually arcane about this pet...


At the very least, if you are not going to properly fix the pet, can you allow whim users to reconvert the pet to egg form so we can sell it and get our money's worth?

I will post a video later on this thread, but I have determined that with this reduced pull range, by the time they are able to pull opponents, they can already auto attack.

Please, please, please... change it back to the 14mm pull & keep the other upgrades. It was already a weak arcane... right now, developers fixed the issues with it (which I am grateful for) and created another issue by fixing what wasn't broken.

Wow, they should seriously consider making the range 14mm again... ATM whim's pull is useless and acts as a passive you can use from time to time zzzzz. Seriously, the glitched whim is better? Please fix this...
