I am thinking of joining, supposing you want me. My Sorc and Rogue do meet the criteria, Warrior only has ~20k kills and 5800 health without pet. All lv41.
The thing is, I want to discuss how the guild works, and your thread is probably not a good place for that ;-) I would appreciate if someone could PM me on forums, as that allows offline access and longer sentences.
Points that are of particular interest:
1. What is the situation for free players (~5 free plat a month if lucky)? Is there even a point in joining? I can understand that wealthy players prefer running with other wealthy, the question is, how many poor players do you have?
2. How many people are online? Is everyone soloing Jarl/KM3 or are elite runs frequent? I don't PvP at all.
3. Are low-level farming alts allowed to join as well? (This is less important if the guild is mostly alive)

In any case, the fact that I consider joining you is the biggest compliment I can think of :vwub:

That's part of the reason I love this guild. I would hate it if we were really concerned with our position on the lb. We have a great group of friendly players that are down to earth. I would hate to change this dynamic just to see our name on a list. Glad to have you as GM Sera.

Organized pvp...eew. You weren't around for season 2/3 when all you had to do was join a map and start fighting. Rav and I would pvp all night and never have to search for a room. There was none of this "it's got to be fair and evenly matched and you can't hit untul we're ready" crap. This new childish pvp stuff is so damn annoying. Waiting half an hour while the other team calls in 3 more arcane rings becauae thhey never kearned how to play their characters....totally bogus.

The only good thing about the top guild listing was the breakdown of the stats for each guild, so we could see our progress over time in various areas. Is anyone else really disappointed that they're slowly shutting this down, with the posts being late frequently and now not being put up at all?

With the game being so dead and new content so slow coming out, one would think STS would keep up with one of the only things left to provide a focus to players.

It sounds like you're saying that you share a character. Even if that wasn't against ToS, we want to know who the people are that are in our family. Having multiple people running one toon is totally uncool.

Once someone is booted, they are not allowed back, on any character. We have methods that we use to track that kind of thing, ensuring a high quality, drama-free environment for our members.

I would like to make it clear to everyone that Pheonix has absolutely no opinion about Karma OR Magnum or any associated guilds. We will not tolerate trash talking in our guild, about anyone or any guild. If you are joining Pheonix, you need to understand that we are neutral, drama free, and our guild chat is a positive environment. Leave your old attitudes at the door, and stop looking at guild names in pvp.

Also, we expect members to be self-reliant. Spamming "join" every 45 seconds only annoys people and stresses the other members out. We are helpful and if we are available we do join within reason. Asking for assistance occasionally is fine, but if you have to ask for backup every time you enter pvp, you need to learn some skills.

People who spam chat with help requests constantly (pvp or otherwise), or trash talk other guilds / other players will not be tolerated here. If this is you please find another guild and leave us out of it.

The stat requirements are easy to meet and don't require expensive gear. For that reason we are strict on that. The pve kills we can be a bit flexible on, so if the rest is met and they are willing to work on getting them up. You can message any recruiter or officer in game, (or me, a bit later today) to talk to someone about what is needed to get up to spec.

Ok, thanks. And no, def not enough posts yet, forum mod just added me this week. 1 of my 3 works a ton but plays everyday, I try and help her level when I can. Think shes lvl 18 atm, but does log and play daily. Me and the other run maps constantly, always lookin for some action. If the 3rd is a issue mabye u have a recommendation for a builder guild we can hit up? I know everyone has requirements, ive been in major money based alliances in other games, so I get that everyone has a time and money investment to protect. But at the same time giving a shot to someone who will ultimately be a great guildie to me is what mmo games are all about. Ill check into her stats and see what I need to do on my end to get her closer to guidelines and let ya know. Thanks again for responding

Pheonix is an end game guild, so level 40/41 (mostly 41) experienced players and their alts only. Sounds like you and your friends need some more experience before coming into this type of guild. I saw another post you made saying you're only level 26. It's possible to meet requirements for Pheonix below 40 if you try, but not at that low a level. Sorry.

For builds it depends on class. In general:

Mage: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Clock, Shield (wind for speed mages)
Rogue: Aim, Nox, Pierce, and veil, traps or razor depending on your style.
Warrior: Vengeful Blood, Horn of Renew, Skyward Smash, Chest Splitter

There's a lot of possible variations for each depending on what you're doing, but those are the basics. All classes should have passive might maxed. Rogue and Mage should always max knowledge and agility as well. Warrior I would do the same for a start, but this can be adapted to suit gear / style later on.

A post on CU's thread reminded me to look this up. The original Pheonix was created 2 years and 2 days ago.

Of course the current version has evolved into a vastly different guild than it was back then, but our roots were formed at that time. As you can see, thanks to H2N's ever-fantastic facts (we miss you H2N!) we were only ever "not" a guild for 16 seconds. So happy slightly-belated 2 years, my lovelies!

Buffed stats are not really impressive, since that kind of stacked stat will last for maybe one hit before the addons start falling off. Still entertaining occasionally though.
