L31 Bear

Recently, I've gotten hooked on 31 pvp, and I want to make a bear! :) I am probably going to make a dex bear but cannot decide between full dex and 94:60. Any suggestions for stat and skill builds would be wonderful :) New behr named irekt

Gear: shivering talon set

Combo: rage, ib, beckon, hs, cb, SMS, cs, stomp (also use stomp when you freeze them)

I personally don't have a 31 bear but I do have a 35 so I tried to base this off a 35 build.

I tried a taunt build, and an evasion build, and for me, ib build works better for me.

Srry for double post, I cant edit for some reason.
Heres my KITE build. KITE, okay?

Gear, shiv armor and bow, and that lvl 29 pink dex helm
Build:
6 rage, ib, hs, stomp, 5 beckon, 1 SMS. Pls no flame.
Additionally, you could replace 6 ib with 6 taunt..

Combo mages: Kite at 13m a bit, then beckon hs stomp sms. Kite at 13m between combos.
Combo other bears (most likely shiv talon cb bears): Kite at 13m, make them miss hs and beckon, then beckon hs stomp sms, kite.
Combo burds: Make them miss root and break, then normal combo.
If you ever get in an awkward situation where beckon missed or dodged, then go up to them with hs, stomp sms. Also even better if they are frozen..makes shattered.

I'm going to try a cb build and see how I like it..

I tried a taunt build, and an evasion build, and for me, ib build works better for me.

Well here's how I think of it. I'd rather dodge than get hit with lowered damage. Dodge takes no dmg, and dodging a hs or frostbite is very very helpful. Even if I hs u first (and u got ib), I'll keep landing that hs first. That's why I prefer dodge or spread around for more dmg.

but i feel like armor does nothing. i personally hate dodge as well. (exactly why i went int behr) but it is better than ib. no use if ice or hs gonna keep hitting u (<---pretty much guarentees a death)

I use ib and personally I'd rather have 30 more armor that guarantees lower damage than a small amount of an extra chance to dodge. I've fought bears with 40 dodge when buffed and not once did they actually dodge. The way I see it, taunt and dodge is better against bears in 30-40 Pvp while ib is better against mages. So unless you plan on being 40 where its all bears then I'd rather be ib because more mages in 30-37 than bears. And it's not only better against mages, it is pretty decent against bears. It helps me beat reaper and plat pack bears because they have op items and the damage dealt to me from those op items is lowered from having around 115 armor causing them to do damage in the 20s instead of the usual op damage they do.

Yeah what fear said, i guess talon vs talon and str bears deciding factor shud be first hs, but IF you can pull of a quick beckon hs then thats a different story! And fighting mage as a talon is highly advisable to beckon first!
