I was wondering if the guilds on the leaderboards will be getting a banner at theend of the season? Maybe have the initials of the guild or something.

There's currently no plans for it.

Bad idea..
That would influence players to only join the Top Guilds just so they could add to their collection a colorful banner.
This idea wouldn't help promote new, starting guilds and the game would be reduced to mostly pre-existing guilds.

That is why you put a limit to guild members.

yup put a limmit toi guild members and once you left the guild the banner will disappear.
or you will only get it once you reach 6 months in the guild :P.
thats from earning guild loyalty.
another options is all members will have guild banners but when they leave the guild banner will disappear or cant be equip.

Hmmmmm.. im disagreeing with any sort of limit to guild size. It limits the freedom of the players to join a guild of their choosing. In addition to that, if STS just randomly forces a limit to guild size (example: 200), and say Guild A has 1,500 members, what would determine who gets kicked and who stays? The leader of Guild A has put a lot of effort into growing their guild. Can you imagine the frustration that would come about if he has to take a giant leap back in his progess? That isnt fair. STS was smart to exclude a limit. It allows the master to do whatever they want, set their own limits. And ebez is right in his feedback, people would shy away from the new guilds for a beautiful banner and join a top-ranking veteran guild, forcing the top-50 positions to remain stagnant, which is unfair. So STS, dont touch the structure of the guilds. Focus on improving the guild halls (adding more features/improving the benefits of being in a guild).

No need for a banner since you already can wear your guild name as your title for everyone to see.
