I would like to suggest that the staff take time out to update the forums. The current allowed size for SIGs is only 15.0Kb or 100x500 pixels (whichever is smaller).
For those of you that don't know a 100X500 pixel sig in colour at web resolution is just over 100Kb so. To reach a 15Kb limit for an image which we can use as a SIG would either mean we are to use a 12x60 pixel SIG which would have to be in black and white.
I suggest allowing 200KB per item as this would allow sufficient data for a decent SIG.
