+60 dex and additional passives = no need to crit when you have more HP than anything else around you as well as superior damage.

Keep in mind with a 40% chance to stun, you will not be stunning rogues- you can do more damage when your opponent is a sitting duck for 2-3 seconds with terrrify rather than with 40 stat points, 15 that diminish.

I agree with CTF, I would have preferred faster movement speed or Crit %, but this isn't too shabby with +60 of any stat.

Its arcane and passive ability not that OP, the only OP thing is +45 primary stat and +15 when buffs applies.

As if +105 stat boost didn't increase survivability enough...Imagine a tank with this pet? Who needs 5 skills when you have this pet? Heck, 5 skills + this = God Mode until you run out of mana. :D

Well, chances are low tho, no crit % added, no mana regen, we don't even know if the skill cools down fast or slow, range of ability, is it a melee or ranged pet, there's a lot of things to consider, but seeing that 4% reduced dmg, I'm going to give this to tanks.

The stats alone will add a lot of crit if you feel like you are lacking. :p

I think the pet is ranged considering it is a fireball, but we will have to see. :D

It's +120 base stats, meaning that any crit you lack will most likely be made up through stats alone.

Since the lvl cap keeps rising, +20 or +25 base stats just arent that good anymore. Most of the future pets will probably have better stats, though I don't think that the pets already released will be buffed. sucks for the people who spent big bucks to get sam or glacian :/

Crates are going to suck if this is the only thing added tomorrow. Most people wouldn't be as thrilled getting any mythics that are currently in the crates since they are on their way out. Hope many of the crate items are refreshed as well.

You should buy crates, but opening tomorrow would be a waste since nothing is currently selling, and you'll end up with lots of useless pinks with the expansion coming soon. But if you loot one, you'll have enough gold to buy anything you want :)

Lol... this pet is going to be released in 2015. Anyways by the way the price of locks r going i think most of the community also thinks that it will be released tomorrow. If i remember correctly i think sam was released before the expansion, then abbadon, and then the new crate pinks. If they plan on following that trend then it should b soon. Though the original title said new arcane pet tomorrow and the post said wait for tbe official announcement. I would assume that it will b in the weekend update. Would b interrsting to see mythic weapons included as well... lol but we all know we dont want to see anymore daggers in pvp.

Let's just wait and see how this pet works. Having a one minute cooldown on arcane pretty much limits how OP this pet seems. Also, I'm expecting the loot rate to be even lower than the rest of the arcane pets.

It'd be fine to have something that will persuade the current serious platinum buyers to keep buying since every single person from that group has already aquired the best gear/pet so far. I'm guessing they made it for the exact reason; a slow but gradual decrease in the platinum purchases.

It's not going to hurt anyone if this becomes an actual arcane rarity pet even for the already arcane-stuffed players.

I'm sorry to say it, but the design team really dropped the ball on this pet.

It looks nothing like I would imagine a dragon from an island of tiki inspired warriors looks like. I'm not entirely sure what that looks like, tbh - but certainly not this. The armor on it looks so out-of-place and the derpy look on it's face is laughable - almost like a Rampardos with downs, it's just not cool. The stats are amazing for sure, but damn. >_<'''

Samael is a flying toddler with a stick compared to this beast...I didnt think next arcane pet would have these overpowered stats...45 primary stat, 15 of other stats, 12% dmg. Arcane ability similar to samaels but gives +15 stats. This drew the line between the rich and poor.

Where does everyone come up with 60 primary? Its 30+15 primary and only allies get +15 not the owner of the arcane pet. Read the description. Samael for mage is +35 primary. So the difference is ten for mage and 20 for everyone else. The extra 12% damage does make it the highest damage output of any pet compared to sams 10%. However Sams DoT is insane by attacking mobs with poision which spreads. So I'd prefer Sam over this in pve as in pvp even with this arcane pet mage can't kill war lol.

Yes, atm Im able to kill and survive against most arcane pets users samael included but this pet is way too beast. yes my pet is legendary and crap but are pets supposed to be the deciding factor for pvp, they shouldnt have a huge impact imo.

As Samhayne suggested in another post, there are items to consider when looking at pets that are not shown on the pet stat screen. I personally think Samael is way overpowered myself considering his lightning fast attack speed. The beginning arcane pets attack like they were on tranquillizers, hammerjaw in particular. We don't know what his passive attack speed will be or the damage from his arcane ability. Additionally, as others have stated, he stuns. This is very different from panic / terrify. At the end of the day Samael tbh is going to be better probably - those panic abilities and stupid high crit rates are what truly ruin pvp. At risk of rambling on to other topics... As I suggested in the beginning, there are invisible factors that could very much change your opinion of the pet.
