Pets cause too much lag and serve no purpose other than vanity. Please either remove them or make them buff players.

I usually unequip them when I am in pvp. If it is causing lag for you...you could either just not bother having one...or unequip whenever you are entering pvp or a mission.
I don't think there is anyway for STS to remove pets without really upsetting a lot of players.
