sam or whim

I need advice on whether to get sam egg or whim egg. I am a lv 36 mage with the arcane staff, and full mythic gear. The stats are very similar but with a several mill difference in price, is the health advantage of sam that much better?

Sam is better. Sams constant hp and mana regen makes a huge difference. Whim is only good for timed runs on certain levels.

Sam is better as said above^ It also gives an extra 10 crit, while Whim gives Dodge. The crit is great for obvious reasons, and the Arcane ability of Sam is amazing.

What about compared to Glacian? +10% Crit, +10 To Primary Stat, +15 STR, +15 DEX, +75 Mana, and +8 Mana Regen and the arcane ability seems pretty good:
Arcane Ability: Frigid Fortitude
Buffs all nearby group members with +12 STR, +12 DEX, +12 INT and +10% Armor for 10 seconds. Restores a small amount of mana.
Cool down: 25s

Sam has an aura of hp / mp regen. At level 36, you get 122hp/47mp about every 1-2s. Yes it regens mana.

Glacian's lack of a proper stun/panic/terror and % dmg increase makes this pet less than stellar compared to the other arcane pets. % dmg increase started making more of an impact starting at level 31+.
