You can buy gold and plat w/ real money but its way tougher to get plat in game. You get it from chests which costs plat to open and maybe from one of the daily guys, I don't know I've never gotten one from them.
Wondering which is better- buying slag with plat or waiting for one to buy in cs.

i prefer wait to buy with gold. i never spend money in MMORPG. i can spend my money in original games like Battlefield 3,4. but not in a MMORPG.
but if u wanna buy it buy with plat.

If you can afford it and want it, buy it with platinum NOW. Its price is around 3.8 million gold and prices in auction are always inflated.

Platinum at REGULAR price is worth:
1.99 for 10 0.19c per ONE plat.
4.99 for 30 0.16c
9.99 for 75 0.13c
19.99 for 165 0.12c
49.99 for 600 0.08c
89.99 for 1700 0.05c
When platinum is on sale you can get it for close to .03c per platinum

Well, I was thinking of a plat conversion to gold ratio. What do you guys think of this:
1 lep bundle = 1 lep and 10,000 gold. 1 lep bundle is 150 plats. 1 lep sells for around 200k in cs. So, if I subtract 10k from 200k, 150 plats = 180,000 gold.
This can't be right, no?
Who in the right mind would pay 150 plats which is close to $19 for 180k gold? :). Hmmm.

If you transfer your plat directly to gold, you'd get 1k per plat you transfer. But you make more gold if you indirectly use it to buy more valuable stuff and sell it for gold.

Buy with gold keep your plat for the new goodies that are coming soon.
If i were you though i won't spend neither for slag but invest plat and money in the upcoming exp.
