Hey
so, i'm asking this because i'm really gonna buy tons of platinum and i wonder how can i use plat to make gold?
EXCEPT buying gold for plat which is really crap, and except buying elixirs and farming?
"except buying elixirs and farming?" i wonder if this is the only neat and nice way of making gold using plat?

-Suggestions please.

Only 3 ways to get gold; Buying gold, Farming for it (could be farming pinks to sell, farming gold, farming potions, farming deaths ect...) and Merching.

You dont want to buy it or farm it so it leaves merching. You can spend plat on CS inventory slots to get more pinks and other items moving

I would recommend to buy about 100.

If your a beginner merch I would suggest that you start at 25, prices are very inexpensive and if you mess up the most you lose is 10-25k. The area is high demand and is perfect for practice. Just know your prices and use the cs to buy and sell.

Generally yes, i would stay away from Dreamers Earthquake set. Its high in price and the cs price jumps.alot. everything else know the price, buy when there's alot in cs and price is low, and sell when there isn't alot for a higher price, i.e supply and demand. I would stash everything but 100k. Use that and see how you do after a week or so.

Btw, don't buy 100 slots...that's not necessary. Rather create a new character, buy the 35 plat (something like that much) starter kit, gives 1500 gold, 10 auction slots, some cool looking gear.

Level that character to 4 at least to access stash and cs. And then being merching!

thanks for reply.
So, i check the CS and see which pinks are common, buy them, stash them and then Sell them when the pinks i bought are rare/uncommon? ._.
ty for the premium character kit tip.

use fox for that. you are faster in cs hall with double dash.

If plat don't really matters, then use 80-Plat elix with 100% luck while leveling. And level in plat dungeons if partys available.

One other method of making gold out of plat is crafting with plat recipes. But that works better when a new cap with new crafting gear is out. But .... :o

Not sure what you mean by rare or uncommon, what I mean Is sell them when others aren't selling them in cs. Know the price, do not list a overpriced item. Just because there isn't alot of the item in cs doesn't mean you control the price. It just means others aren't selling atm. So example

Cs: jewel thiefs earthquake wing-7 listed in cs- lowest price is 9k- buy 1-2 wings. Later when there's 1-2 listed in cs sell for more for profit.

Sometimes the price can be low AND there isn't alot listed in cs. This is where knowing the prices comes in...

The only way I've found is through crafting lvl 75 sets buy the components cheap from cs and pay 30 plat to craft without recipe and you can sell items for what they would be worth with the recipe.
Ex:
L75 sharp helm = 95k
One Red Diamond = 35k
Other mats are less than 2k
Recipe = 30 plat or 80k
Total = 132k with plat/ 212k w/o

Sell price = 190k
So normally crafting you don't make a profit which is why there are plenty of materials for it in CS, but with platinum you make 58k profit for 30 plat.

Now this is one item and I'm promise it's not the most profit. The more money you have and the more patient you are you can do the same for L75 armors and make up to 150k profit or more. The key is to buy the materials cheap. When I'm farming I buy whatever other players get as drops if it's craftable. This is also nice if you yourself farm a recipe because you have the mats most of the time to craft a new piece rather than trying to sell a recipe no one wants.

Profit breakdown:
From plat store 700 plat is 250k.
With this method 700 plat is roughly (and I'm only using example above which is lowest end) 1.35m

However using this method (I buy 4000 plat during sale for $100) I can turn 4000 plat into 16m. I however like to enjoy PL as well so half of the time I'm not marching materials to craft I'm farming the drops myself with good groups using plat elixirs. It sounds less guaranteed but I've made more doing so and had more fun. No substitute for good old fashion farming. So good luck!

Disclaimer: Take time to go to the dragonet in black smoke town and check recipes certain items require different numbers of red diamonds for example and will change the overall profit scheme. Recurve bow is one of them that will almost never make money. I learned the hard way :)
