More pally questions

So I decided to convert my pure int mage to a tanking pally. Im currently 43 with crap gear to play around with until 45 where I have a Thoth set waiting. My question is in regards to point allocation. I know there probably isnt a right or wrong answer, but im looking for good reasons not to go all strength. At 50 do most pallys go rift and or gear with str as the stat or is there a Thoth like upgrade at 50 to get some int? Should I mix str and dex and get int from gear? Or just go all str and be content with my mana pot addiction?

pally or mage, u r magic user... if u go pally then min str so u can wear the gear and rest into int is what i would do. another option is min str to wear gear and some into dex just so u get 100% hit and rest into int.
