You're talking about Trader's Market? Yeah, it's useful to put the item you want to buy on your title as opposed to a generic "buying".

You could put it in your sig. You are unable to make a custom title.

Always good idea to put in title so buyers/sellers can see right away what your looking for. It would waste some time to open thread just to see the item name...May cause some discouragement to potential traders.

That's a great idea, but it can be easily abused.

For example, I could set my title to: *insert name here* sucks. Heck, I could come up with more than one situation where people would abuse it. I think, for that reason, creating custom titles is not allowed.

I thought he was talking about thread title. So you dont have to spam threads for "buying this"... "Buying that"

It took me several minutes to really understand, but now I'm 100% sure he meant in-game title.
So people don't spam in town for selling / buying things.
As a mercher, I'd say no :p

it could be a good idea if:
1. there are two different title, [Buying ...] and [Selling ...]
2. each one of the title gives extra option, such as a drop-down selection of items in that character's inventory
3. maybe another extra numerical field for the price

I think it would be almost abuse-free, and no more "sell my weapon blabla"

BUT, the downside is, people will be less using auction house...

anyway, this is exactly why there is an auction house. why don't people start using it instead of shouting in town? maybe the tax is too high for low valued item? maybe it's the time to recalculate taxes based on the price
